Noah Bloom, an award-winning composer based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, discovered a musical passion at a young age, picking up the guitar at 8, later becoming a self-taught pianist and accomplished jazz guitarist.
He has been involved in bands since his early teenage years, having toured the east coast of Australia with The Rions, performed alongside jazz legend James Morrison AM as well as with former INXS lead singer, Ciaran Gribbin. He continues to now play with his own original band, Ah Honey, who gig regularly throughout Sydney and at various festival lineups along the east coast of Australia.
In 2021, Noah’s sound installation piece, Akuna was selected for Express Yourself 2022, an annual MAG&M exhibition of artworks by HSC Visual Arts students across the Northern Beaches, where his work was awarded joint recipient of the Theo Batten Youth Art Award.
Under the mentorship of renowned TV composer Jay Stewart, Noah has honed a unique style that blends orchestral textures with electronic samples. This distinctive approach has earned him commissions from entities such as BBC Earth, Red Bull, and Red Cross Australia, with his work also extending to Australia's leading media networks, including SBS and NOVA Entertainment.
Noah’s in his final year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, having pursued a 4 year Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in Composition for Creative Industries.
